In September I became a new mom to a sweet beautiful little girl. She is our world and we so happy to have her in our life. I am very lucky to be a stay at home mom. It has been better for her and me too. I am the mom that will call and check up on her when someone is baby sitting for me. With my anxiety its better for me to be with her. If you want to or need to go back to work after having a baby your stronger then me and I think your amazing.

One thing my husband and I have learned is you don’t need everything for the baby at first. We though we need a bassinet and we bought on on Facebook and it worked for a very short time until my daughter stated to hate it. We did get a changing table and a changing pad. We bought our changing at IKEA and it was cheaper then what you can find at target, walmart, and Amazon. If your wanting a pack and play get one with the bassinet insert. We bought one after our daughter turn four months and I let her play in it and she has fun because I put some of her toys in.

My crib was a gift from my father in law which was very sweet of him. The one thing i wouldn’t buy used is a mattress. You don’t know if the former owner has bed bugs or not. We made the choice to cloth diaper and found it cheaper then using disposable diapers when we are home. We looked at how much it would cost a year with using just disposable diapers. Its not easy using cloth but baby girl likes them better. I use disposable diapers when I go places. When I do buy diapers, wipes, and formula I go to Sam’s club.

I will say this first I am not a mommy, but I am an infant teacher. As an infant teacher I have used a lot of different brands of wipes, diapers, and butt paste. Let’s be honest diaper cream is just butt paste. I am going to start with diaper cream Aka butt paste.

The honest co diaper cream is okay, it’s will not work on a diaper rash. This cream is good for a health bum. I saw first hand with a little one with a bad diaper rash. It took her mom and I working together and using the right cream to get their little bottom healed. If you are wanting more green products try the seventh generation with coconut oil works. It was the burts bee was diaper cream that healed their bottom. There are some rashes that get bad enough or are yeast infections that your babies doctor has to give an rx cream. Don’t feel like your a bad parent our bodies are different and so is our skin. Hands down the best cream is the a & d ointment is the best. The only problem I have with this cream was teachers that just got a new tattoo and used a child’s cream for their own use. I don’t have a tattoo or I am not planning one.
